Within the framework of the municipality’s participation in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries’ celebrations of their national holidays, the Public Relations Department, represented by monitoring the decorations and raising flags, raised the flags of the sister state of Qatar in Al-Mubarakiya area (Souk Al-Gharbally – Souk Al-Sararif – Al-Amir Street) on the occasion of its celebration of the National Day, which falls on the eighteenth of December each year.

The Public Relations Department added that raising the flags on this occasion, dear to the hearts of all Kuwaitis, took place in coordination with the Kuwait City Markets Development Team, given the historical and heritage value of the Mubarakiya region, and being the preferred destination for most visitors to the country.
