Representative Saud Al-Asfour called on Minister of Justice, Endowments and Promotion of Integrity Abdulaziz Al-Majed not to put pressure on the Central Agency for Public Tenders in order to approve a project (the framework agreement) with Google, at a value of one billion US dollars.
Al-Asfoor said in a statement at the National Assembly’s media center, “Strengthening Kuwait’s economic position and developing infrastructure in the technological aspect in particular is appreciated and we support it, stressing that any agreement to which public money is a party must take its proper status and come according to proper procedures.”
