Representative Khaled Al-Tamar announced that he submitted a proposal for a law regarding amending some provisions of the Social Insurance Law promulgated by Emiri Decree Law No. (61) of 1976, adding workers in the Ministry of Electricity and Water to the category of hard and dangerous work, raising their allowances and securing their lives.

In its text, after perusal of the Constitution and the Social Insurance Law promulgated by Emiri Order by Law No. 61 of 1976, the National Assembly approved the following law, which we ratified and promulgated:

(Article 1)

The text of Clause (8) of Article (17) of the Emiri Order by Law No. (61) of 1976 shall be replaced by the text referred to as follows:
