The Kuwait Red Crescent Society continued today, Thursday, to provide urgent relief aid to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and northern Syria to alleviate the humanitarian crisis there.
The Society’s Secretary-General, Maha Al-Barjas, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that 80 tons of relief materials and urgent humanitarian needs were sent today on two Kuwaiti military planes that took off towards Turkey earlier today.
Al-Barjas added that a team of volunteers is currently there in order to provide aid and ensure that it reaches the affected families, in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent.
