The Kuwait Red Crescent Society announced today, Monday, the distribution of in-kind aid (blankets), tents and food items to 1,000 families affected by the earthquake that recently struck Turkey.
Deputy Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors, Anwar Al-Hassawi, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the distribution of in-kind aid was carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent Society and the Qatari Red Crescent Society, adding that 35 tons of humanitarian aid will be distributed today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday.
