The General Administration of Customs warned today, Tuesday, against possessing or bringing (Night Calm) tablets other than those legally authorized according to the medical prescription for psychotropic substances.

The administration said in a press statement that the drug (Night Calm) is one of the trade names for the substance (Zopiclone), which was included in Table No. (4) of the Anti-Psychotropic Substances Law No. (48) of 1987, based on the decision of the Minister of Health No. (376) of the year 2022 on 12/6/2022, which was published in the Official Gazette (Kuwait Today) Issue No. (1613) on 11/12/2022.

And she emphasized, “It is prohibited to possess this drug or to enter the country without a medical prescription.”
