The Kuwait Red Crescent Society affirmed that Kuwait has the right to be proud of its track record in the field of voluntary work, which is rooted and clear at the popular and governmental levels, as everyone responds to the call in all situations.
In a speech on the occasion of the International Day of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, which falls on Monday, the Deputy Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors, Anwar Al-Hassawi, saluted the efforts of the state’s volunteers to carry the message of love and peace from Kuwait to all the peoples of the world who suffer the brunt of circumstances and the severity of crises.
Al-Hassawi said that the association adopts initiatives that support the capabilities of volunteers, develop their field skills, and enhance their efforts in addressing humanitarian issues in accordance with best practices in this vital and important field.
