Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Fahd Al-Shula stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of approving the new hygiene regulations by the Municipal Council to set penalties for entities that do not comply with the hygiene law.

Minister Al-Shula said in a press statement on the sidelines of his visit to the members of the Municipal Council in the new building of the Council that the issue of cleanliness is a concern for any minister who takes over the municipal portfolio, especially after many citizens complained about the low level of hygiene.

And he announced a comprehensive campaign for cleanliness in all the governorates of Kuwait, which will start next week, and it will be carried out by the cleaning sector in the Kuwait Municipality, referring to the examination of all obstacles facing the council and what was stipulated in Article (22) of the Municipal Law by responding to questions and inquiries of municipal members within 60 days, as well as quickly. ..
