Today, Tuesday, the State of Kuwait called on the parties to the conflict in Sudan to calm down, restraint, prevail over the voice of wisdom, and engage in a peaceful dialogue with the aim of political stability and economic recovery for the advancement of Sudan and its people.
This came in a speech delivered by Abdullah Al-Khubaizi, Advisor to Kuwait’s permanent delegation to the United Nations in Geneva, before the United Nations Human Rights Council, during the interactive dialogue session on the annual report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Al-Khubaizi said, “We would like to express, on this occasion, our deep concern and concerns about the repercussions of the armed conflict, and we call for adherence to the ceasefire in order to avoid the deterioration of the human rights situation…
