The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee approved in its meeting today, Sunday, the cancellation of the local agent, and it was submitted to the National Assembly.
The committee’s rapporteur, Representative Abdul-Wahhab Al-Essa, said in a statement at the Media Center of the National Assembly that the aim of the cancellation is to open the door to competition in Kuwait in an expanded manner so that it will reflect positively on improving the quality of services in the country, whether provided in commercial work or services that are through government tenders.
Al-Essa considered that the committee’s approval in its meeting today to cancel the local agent law is a victory for the principles of free economy and financial freedom.
